Lululemon set to increase air freight to avoid port congestion in Asia

The apparel giants, Lululemon Athletica, is set to increase its use of air freight in a bid to avoid the expected port congestion in Asia due to expected tariff increases, according to Supply Chain Dive.
PJ Guido, Chief Financial Officer of Lululemon, has said that the move to air freight was to ensure on-time delivery of fall merchandise instead of being seen as an attempt to beat tariffs.

T he Montreal Convention is an international air carriage convention introduced by the International Civil Aviation Organization in 1999, which took effect in China (and Macau) on 31 July 2005, automatically superceding its predecessor the Warsaw Convention. Etihad Airways says it has acquired the shares held by Armaguard Linfox Group (Australia) in Armaguard Valuables Management Etihad Airways has announced that it acquired the shares held by Armaguard Linfox Group (Australia) in Abu Dhabi-based joint venture Armaguard Valuables Management (AVM). The deal makes Etihad the sole shareholder of the company which has been renamed Etihad Secure Logistics Services.
